How can I have more range? Aren’t there limits on antenna power output?
Yes, there are limits! However, a FOCUS instantly repeats a signal adding to the link budget without ever exceeding a regulatory body’s maximum transmit power.
What Wi-Fi vendors is the FOCUS compatible with?
FOCUS works at layer 1 (radio frequency) so it will work with any Wi-Fi system (and other technologies!) with zero configuration.
What are the licensing costs?
None. The only ongoing costs are a few dollars of electricity per month.
What frequency does the FOCUS operate in?
5 GHz with 6 GHz operation coming soon.
Will this also help signal from my client devices to my access points (upstream)?
Absolutely
How much training does my team need to use a FOCUS?
Zero. There’s a power button that will remain on when in use. There’s no configuration. Literally point them the direction you want more signal and push the power button.
What is the power draw of a single FOCUS?
4.7 Watts.
Can a FOCUS replace a wireless access point?
