We would love to talk to you

Do you operate a business/facility that uses Wi-Fi?

Are there areas in your facility where your Wi-Fi doesnt meet your business’ needs?

Fill out this form to be part of an initial test group to eliminate dead zones in your facility’s Wi-Fi.

What can LATYS do for you?

Our proprietary metasurface technology delivers a drop-in antenna that extends wireless signals without processing or interference. LATYS FOCUS receives and refocuses your existing Wi-Fi where needed, providing:

Consistent greater bandwidth and stronger signal (no more dead zones)

Significant cost savings on network builds

Hassle-free installations

Efficiency for everyone (office workers, floor workers, and even robots)

LATYS Partners with Oxia Initiative

Introduction

LATYS Intelligence, a wireless networking company, and Oxia Initiative, today announced a strategic collaboration that resulted in a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) measurement tool to assess the GHG emissions impact of LATYS AIRs. The collaboration between LATYS and Oxia Initiative is the outcome of a Cycle Momentum strategy, to deterministically measure the Greenhouse Gas emissions of LATYS AIRs deployed in factories and warehouses across the province of Quebec, Canada.

LATYS’ Autonomous Intelligent Repeaters (AIRs) can improve the throughput, range, and overall reliability of any Wi-Fi network. LATYS AIRs control the flow of the communication signal to focus the energy where it needs to go, thereby reducing network energy consumption and waste. They also provide better connectivity for wireless monitoring therefore enabling users to better understand and optimize their own energy efficiency. The compact form factor of LATYS AIRs enables their easy deployment, additionally, after their useful life cycle, contributes to less electronic waste.

Smart factories can benefit from using LATYS AIRs, to experience reliably strong Wi-Fi connectivity, without dead zones, while spending less in overall network costs. Traditional factories (that don’t have Wi-Fi on their manufacturing floor today), can benefit from LATYS AIRs by installing Wi-Fi connectivity that helps improve their productivity, without added work for their IT or operational teams. All of the above is possible while reducing the Greenhouse Gas emissions of a typical industrial Wi-Fi network.

The report prepared by Oxia Initiative, to assess GHG emissions of LATYS AIRs, is thanks to their expertise in defining clear baseline scenarios and their deep knowledge of Greenhouse Gas impact factors in the lifecycle of any product, as well as LATYS’ proprietary product development and deployment characteristics.

About Latys

LATYS is an early stage, Montreal based technology start-up, changing the way we build wireless networks. Our revolutionary IP, that breaks the current rules of antenna design, allows us to create future-proof smart wireless infrastructure that are intuitive to their environments. We are the next big thing in Wi-Fi, 5G, Industry 4.0, and Industrial IoT.

About Oxia Initiative

Oxia Initiative is a Montreal-based company that was founded in 2018. We design methodologies and tools for measurement of GHG emissions, in synergy with investors, investees, and governments.

Through our platform Carboscope, we deliver both, carbon footprint and avoided emissions reports following international standards such as ISO & GHG protocol. By simplifying the data sharing process, Oxia initiative strengthens collaboration & cooperation as knowledge & information exchange brings positive collective climate strategy and helps in the fight against green-&-impact-washing.
